Jordan Pishko, a Fort Worth area breaststroker and backstroker, has verbally committed to swimming at Keiser University for fall 2025.
Pishko was a class of 2024 graduate of Northwest High School and a member of Lakeside Aquatic Club. He continued training with Lakeside during a gap year, and now he’s off to Fort Lauderdale to compete with the reigning NAIA Champions.
“I chose Keiser because within the team is so much talent, not just with the swimmers but also the coaches,” Pishko told SwimSwam. “I know Coach Adam and Coach Kyle will be able to help me elevate to the next level and grow as a person.”
During his gap year, Pishko made strides in breaststroke and backstroke events. He lit it up at the Speedo Sectionals in Justin, going best times in both breaststroke and both backstroke events as well as the 200 IM.
The incoming Seahawk also impressed at the Florida Senior Championships this summer, earning an A-final berth in the 100 breaststroke and B-final appearances in the 200s backstroke, breaststroke, and IM.

100 breast — 58.79 200 back — 1:54.27 200 breast — 2:08.98 100 back — 53.01 200 IM —- 1:58.42One of Pishko’s strongest assets his backstroke/breaststroke versatility, allowing him to fill in for the Seahawks where they need him the most. At The Sun Conference championships this year, won by Keiser, Pishko’s best times would land him in B-final territory in all backstroke and breaststroke events.
Pishko also told SwimSwam that he took four years off the sport for much of high school and suffered injuries this winter, indicating potential to improve.
Joining Pishko as a first-year in Keiser’s Class of 2029 is Turkish butterflier Eren Sezgin.
