A man was shot and injured in the parking lot of a California Closets store in Huntington Beach Monday morning, Aug. 18, and police were looking for a suspect, authorities said.
Officers were called to 5921 Skylab Road, near Springdale Street, about 7 a.m. on a report of shots fired, Lt. Brian Smith said.
A man was found injured and officers helped him before he was taken to UCI Medical Center in unknown condition, Smith said.
The suspect fled following the shooting, Smith said, but further details were not immediately available and it wasn’t known if the suspect and victim were known to each other.
