ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is charged with attempted murder in a shooting in June on North Goodman Street that left the victim with life-changing injuries.
A Monroe County grand jury recently indicted Daveon Cooper on multiple charges. Rochester Police arrested Cooper in late July, charging him with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
RPD says Cooper shot a 19-year-old on June 8 at a house between Bay Street and Central Park. The victim was taken to Rochester General Hospital with a serious gunshot wound to the upper body.
