ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Silk O’Loughlin’s hosted a fundraiser Sunday, Aug. 17, to support two local animal rescue groups: Blue Moon Meadows and Brindle Posse Rescue. The event featured live music, drinks and food, with all proceeds benefiting the two nonprofits.
“Since 2020 it’s gotten very difficult to raise money, to do events. Especially in like our case, we have astronomical vet bills that need to be paid. So this is a godsend to us,” said Barb Yahn, founder of Brindle Posse Rescue.
Yahn’s shelter focuses on elderly dogs, which require extensive support and care.
