A 6-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Sunday in Humboldt Park on the West Side.
The boy was taken to Humboldt Park Health hospital about 10:30 a.m. after suffering a gunshot wound to his finger in the 1000 block of North Hamlin, Chicago police said.
The boy’s condition was stabilized at the hospital, according to police. Authorities did not release further details on the circumstances of the shooting.
