"I am not in the reboot. I am not in the pilot," she went on. "I don’t even know if the show has been picked up to go to series. I assume it will be." Carpenter then cleared up some confusion among fans who thought the title of her Buffy the Vampire Slayer rewatch podcast was an admission of her involvement, saying that it was not.
