Meagan Good has more than just a supportive husband.
Good, 44, exclusively sat down with Parade to discuss her latest project with Lifetime, the new thriller I'll Never Let You Go, and opened up about just how helpful Jonathan Majorswas when rehearsing for the role.
"It's been really fun for me because I do bounce everything off of him," the actress says of Majors, 35. "And he just has an incredible mind and an incredible approach to how he prepares for things, but then he also knows I have my own approach. He's a brilliant actor and a brilliant artist in general, so it is fun to just talk to him and talk [things] through [with] him."

Meagan Good stars as Emily in an original Lifetime movie.Lifetime
Majors and Good confirmed they were dating in May 2023, shortly after her divorce from from film producer DeVon Franklin was finalized. The Creed III star popped the question in November 2024 and the two privately married in March and seem to be having nothing but good times ever since.
"It's fun," Good adds of working with her actor husband. "Because it's a really safe place with someone I respect as a person, but [also] as an artist, immensely."

In her latest role, Good stars as Emily, a wife who's struggling with her marriage amid her daughter Sophia's departure for college. She finds herself in an affair with a co-worker who ends up never leaving her alone as she and her husband, played by Thomas Cadrot, work on repairing their marriage.
Although Good may deal with things differently in her personal life than Emily does, she related to her character in many ways.

"It's interesting because the writer, I think, pieced together a few different stories of people who have had these type of encounters and experiences of just people becoming crazy," Good says of the original movie that's loosely based off real-life situations. "For me, the thing that I gravitated the most to was this woman being at this new season in her life...and trying to figure out, 'Well, who am I am? Who am I now, and who do I want to be? What do I want for myself?'
"Even in her trying to reconnect with her husband, so much had changed, and her identity had changed within the marriage and in motherhood and all of that. So, I really resonated with her trying to figure out this new act of life in essence."
I'll Never Let You Go premieres Saturday, Aug. 16, at 8/7c on Lifetime.
