Warrenton, Virginia’s Caroline Agee has committed to swim and study at Florida State University beginning in the 2025-26 school year. At the time of her verbal pledge last November, she wrote:
“I am thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Florida State Univeristy!! I want to thank my parents, coaches, and everyone who has helped me throughout this journey. Can’t wait for the next four!! Go Noles!! ”
Agee, a graduate of Kettle Run High School, swims year-round for Nation’s Capital Swim Club and specializes in breast and IM. We named her one of the “Best of the Rest” recruits in the high school class of 2025 on our last re-rank.
Agee wrapped up her prep career in February at the VHSL Class 3 State Swimming and Diving Championships, where she won the 100 breast (1:03.22) and the 200 IM (with a PB of 1:59.54). She added 4 more lifetime bests (200 free, 50 breast, 50 fly, and 100 IM) a month later at the Potomac Valley LSC Senior Championships. She also competed at the NCSA Spring Championships, finaling in the 100 breast (9th), 200 breast (5th), 200 fly (11th), 200 IM (17th), and 400 IM (4th).
She had a successful long course season, as well, earning PBs in the 800 free, 50 back, 50/200 breast, and 50/100/200 fly. She wrapped up the summer at Greensboro Futures, where she placed 4th in the 100 breast (1:11.56), 2nd in the 200 breast (2:31.75), 16th in the 200 IM (2:22.76), and 10th in the 400 IM (4:55.70).

She would have been Florida State’s top 4IMer on the FSU roster last season. She also would have ranked 3rd in the breaststrokes behind senior Maddy Huggins (59.04/2:07.96) and junior Julia Mansson (59.97/2:10.61) and in the 200 IM behind Huggins (1:56.76) and senior Edith Jernstedt (1:58.25).
