People have been throwing down wild cards and “drawing two” since UNO was released in 1971, making it a card game that can bridge the age gap.
On Friday, the generations were brought together for a morning playing UNO and getting to know each other when 30 second-graders from Scholarship Prep Orange County in Santa Ana visited with older adults at the community center in Fullerton.
Meals on Wheels Orange County hosted the gathering with Mattel, which is turning 80 this year, and there were games and dancing and lunch enjoyed by all.
