Five years later, Madison Prewett is finally opening up about her time on Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor.
While starring in the reality dating series from 2019-2020, Prewett unintentionally lost a significant amount of weight during filming.
“It was traumatizing. I lost like, 20 pounds,” Prewett, 29, said during the Wednesday, August 13, episode of the Unplanned Podcast alongside her husband Grant Troutt.

Prewett was a top contender for Weber's final rose that season, up until she broke up with him one day before he proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss. Sluss, who is now married to professional football player Jake Funk, broke up with Weber after suspecting he still had feelings for Prewett and former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown.
Weber ended up pursuing a second chance with Prewett, but his mother, Barbara Weber, publicly denounced their relationship during his season's After the Final Rose special.
During the podcast episode, Prewett was asked how she “kept her composure” while Peter's mother criticized their relationship on live television.
“I can’t even remember what aired and what [didn ’t],” Madi said. “Y’all, I don’t even know if I watched my season all the way through, I’ll be very honest,” she said. “I very much removed myself from all things Bachelor. Even to this day, I really don’t talk about it a ton.”
Prewett has not appeared in any Bachelor franchise shows since her initial appearance on Weber's season. In 2022, she married her husband, who is the son of billionaire Kenny Troutt, and the couple welcomed daughter Hosanna Rose earlier this year.
