US President Donald Trump warned on Friday that hewould walk out of his upcoming Alaska summit with Russian President VladimirPutin if it fails to deliver concrete progress.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump said, “I think it’s goingto work out very well, and if it doesn’t, I’m going to head back home realfast.” Later aboard Air Force One, he added, “I want to see a ceasefirerapidly… I’m not going to be happy if it’s not today. I want the killing tostop.”

“Ukraine is ready to work as productively as possibleto end the war,” he said, urging a “strong American position” and assertingthat “the Russians respect strength — strength alone.”
