Taylor Swift has found a new stage in the kitchen.
While appearing on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast this week, the singer opened up about her latest passion of baking sourdough bread.
“I’d say all my hobbies could be categorized as, like, hobbies you could have had in the 1700s, you know? Like, I get all my granny s---t,” Swift joked, listing sewing, painting, and cooking alongside her “very deep” sourdough fixation.
“We’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life," she added. "I’m really talking about bread 60 percent of the time now.”
The pop star said she's experimented with several flavors, from cinnamon swirl to Funfetti (for Jason's daughters). Travis revealed his favorite is the blueberry lemon loaf: “You got me deep in this!” he told her on the show, laughing.

Swift admitted she now asks friends to taste-test her creations.
“I’m just, like, always baking bread and texting my friends and being like, ‘Can I send you some bread? I need some feedback. Do you like this one better than you liked the other one? Like, I did the rise a little differently,’” she said.
She’s also gone full bread-nerd: “There’s a whole community of us and I didn’t know it. This is an underworld.”
Her baking isn’t limited to bread. Swifties know the singer has a history of whipping up treats — from cinnamon rolls for Travis to Pop-Tarts for his teammates.
On the podcast, Jason suggested her next challenge should be an orange Pop-Tart in honor of her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, due October 3.
“If you really want me to, like, with, like, a marmalade, like, an orange marmalade in the middle and then an orange extract,” Swift replied. When Jason brought up Paddington Bear, Swift laughed: “Okay. No. I can get with this. I just didn't see the vision until now, and now I think it’s kind of genius.”
While Swift bakes, Travis has no complaints about the carb-loading.
“It’s been so fun to see what Taylor actually gets into around the house,” he said. “I am the luckiest man in the world.”
