Did Taylor Swift tell a lie while on the New Heights podcast?
Swifties have been searching every nook and cranny on the shelves that were behind the singer and her boyfriend Travis Kelce while they recorded the podcast, hoping to find some Easter eggs. And some fans found one that could be huge.
On social media, a couple of posts have popped up that zoom in on a figurine that's off to the side behind Kelce — and not really visible through much of the podcast. The figurine is of Pinocchio.
"SHE LIED!!!!!!!! About something!!!!! Back left corner. That’s PINOCCHIO," one fan wrote on Facebook. "13 tracks (number on the envelope?) second album drop Eeeeek (he was NOT visible the whole podcast- not clear til around the 2 hr mark. Eeeek. Mother lied to us about something!)"
That particular post received more than 4,000 likes and more than one thousand comments from fans trying to figure out exactly what the figurine may have meant.
"Im convinced there's 16 tracks. I think each deluxe limited edition has another song, 4 deluxe cds = 4 extra tracks. 12+4 = 16. She mentioned 16 twice during the podcast," read one comment.
"Maybe it's a reference to the song Wood?" someone else suggested.
"Pinocchio’s nose does not look long, though, so that would not indicate a lie. Pinocchio was a puppet who wanted to be a 'real boy.' Maybe it’s supposed to be a parallel to how Taylor feels?" a third fan wondered.
Meanwhile, someone on TikTok made a video about the Pinocchio figurine and fans reacted there as well.

♬ original sound - fanpagewithyou - fanpagewithyouWhile on the New Heights podcast, Swift talked about Easter eggs and how she's used them over the past several years.
"I have parameters," she said. "There’s dos and donts. I don’t do an Easter egg that ties to my personal life. It points to my music…it’s something you don’t know why I’m saying for a specific reason, but then you’ll look back and go 'oh my god.'"
"My favorite one of those was when I was giving an honorary doctorate from NYU and I made the commencement speech," she continued. "And I put so many lyrical easter eggs in that speech that when the Midnights album came out after that, the fans were like 'The whole speech was an Easter egg.' And that for me is really fun because they find it fun. I love numerology, I love math stuff, I love dates, that stuff I find really fun."
Swift's new album, The Life of a Showgirl, will be released on October 3.
