Princess Anne celebrates her 75th birthday on Friday, Aug. 15—and royal fans of King Charles' younger sister are saying the same thing about her new portrait.
On Aug. 14, Buckingham Palace took to social media with an official photo of the late Queen Elizabeth IIand Prince Philip's second-born of four children. (They also welcomed two sons, Prince Andrew, 65, and Prince Edward, 61.)

Princess Anne's 75th birthday portrait was released on the eve of her big day.
On Thursday, the official royal family Instagram account posted a snap of Princess Anne donning a blue dress with a white collar, cuffs and buttons. She rested one hand on a windowsill while posing with the other across her mid-section, wearing her short hair in its natural gray.
"Ahead of Her Royal Highness’s 75th birthday tomorrow, a new picture of The Princess Royal has been released by Buckingham Palace," the caption declared.
The message continued, "The image was taken last month at Gatcombe Park, the private residence of The Princess Royal. The photograph was taken by John Swannell."

In the comments, many fans took the opportunity to thank Princess Anne for so many years of hard work and dedication on behalf of the British royal family.

One day earlier, on Aug. 13, the official royal family Instagram account shared an update dedicated to helping fans learn more about Princess Anne in honor of her 75th birthday.
