Former Alabama and Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond on Thursday learned that his sexual assault case has been no-billed and that he will not be indicted, according to a report by ESPN.
Greg Willis, district attorney for Collin County, Texas (in the Dallas-Fort Worth area), issued a statement regarding the news.
“After reviewing all the evidence presented, a Collin County grand jury returned a ‘no bill’ in the sexual assault charge involving Isaiah Bond, meaning no indictment will be issued. This concludes the criminal proceedings in this matter,” Willis said, per ESPN.
Bond, an undrafted free agent in the 2025 draft class, came out with a statement of his own announcing his intention to sign with the Cleveland Browns while reaffirming his innocence.
“On the advice of my attorney, I will not discuss the details of this case, but I want to be clear: from the very beginning, I have refuted these allegations and maintained my innocence. I stand firm by that today,” Bond said.
“I’m determined to prove the Browns organization and everyone who believes in me right for putting their trust in me.”

— isaiah “007” bond (@isaiahbond_) August 14, 2025On April 10, two weeks before the NFL Draft, Bond turned himself in to Frisco, Texas, police as a result of a sexual assault warrant, later posting bond before his release. He would later call the claims “patently false” and eventually filed a defamation lawsuit against his accuser, with his lawyers arguing his sexual encounter with the woman was consensual. That suit was dismissed in July by a district court in Texas.
Bond spent 2 seasons with Alabama, totaling 65 catches, 888 yards, and 5 touchdowns with the Crimson Tide. He then transferred to Texas, where he pulled in 34 catches for 540 yards and 5 scores.
