ROCHESTER, N.Y. — In September, Rochester City Ballet (RCB) will be opening its own ballet school.
The new school will offer classes for all ages and skill levels to prepare them for professional careers in the dance industry. There will also be chances for students to be in RCB shows.
In a press release, the Director of RCB John Deming says their main goal has always been to make ballet more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
The company says RCB is the only professional ballet school in Western New York. They perform regularly at Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theatre and tour regularly.
