The ex-husband of music powerhouse, Kelly Clarkson, passed away on August 7th following a three-year battle with melanoma cancer.
On Thursday, Brandon’s death certificate was released and provided more insight into the former music manager’s final days.
According to the certificate, first obtained by People, Brandon passed away 11:13 a.m. at his home in Butte, Montana on August 7th at the age of 48.
The document listed his cause of death as malignant melanoma, which is an aggressive form of skin cancer.
The manner of death has been listed as natural causes.
According to the death certificate, seizures were listed as “significant conditions contributing to death but not resulting in the underlying cause.”
