Police in Grand Junction, Colorado, responded around 11:15 a.m. to assist with the unruly passenger who waved a skateboard at Breeze Airways staff and broke free from restraints that workers placed on him twice before the plane landed, police said in a statement.

No injuries were reported, and the suspect hadn’t assaulted anyone, Grand Junction police said. He was taken into custody at the direction of the FBI.
The flight from Norfolk was delayed at Grand Junction Regional Airport until a new crew was brought in to take passengers to LAX.
An investigation is ongoing, and the FBI may announce if the suspect is charged.
