Krispy Kreme is conjuring up a "truly bewitching" treat, well ahead of spooky season.
The popular doughnut chain must've seen all the criticism regarding one of its most recent collabs, and it's seemingly issued a response–through actions, not words, of course.
First, it dropped the "irresistible" limited-edition Passport to Italy menu and then on Thursday, Krispy Kreme revealed it had conjured up a "spellbinding" new offer that has the potential to be adored by not only fans of Harry Potter, but also the sweet treat brand. And so far, fans are saying it "actually sounds so damn good" and that the collection is "so cute."
"We're channeling the beloved magic of Harry Potter™ and the Houses of Hogwarts™ for a collection that is truly bewitching," Alison Holder, chief brand and product officer for Krispy Kreme, shared in an Aug. 14 statement. "But the magic is fleeting, and so are these doughnuts, so don’t miss your chance to try them!"

The limited-edition Harry Potter-inspired menu collaboration features four over-the-top doughnut flavors correlating with each of the houses in the wizarding world, and one extra special addition that truly embodies the Sorting Hat magic.
Doughnut lovers and Harry Potter™ fans alike can head to participating Krispy Kreme shops across the U.S. to experience enchanting doughnuts that bring the four Hogwarts™ houses to life. Gryffindor™ Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with cookie butter flavored Kreme™, dipped in red icing and Biscoff® cookie crumble, topped with golden icing drizzles and the Gryffindor™ crest.Slytherin™ Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut topped with chocolate and green buttercreme flavored swirls, chocolate cookie sugar blend, and the Slytherin™ crest.Hufflepuff™ Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with brown butter toffee flavored custard, dipped in golden yellow icing, and topped with black chocolate drizzle, cookie crunch, and the Hufflepuff™ crest.Ravenclaw™ Doughnut – an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in blueberry flavored icing, topped with the Ravenclaw™ sprinkles and crest.Sorting Hat™ Doughnut – Witches or wizards looking for a sweet reveal can also experience a one-of-a-kind doughnut celebrating the Hogwarts houses. Witches or wizards looking for a sweet reveal can also experience a one-of-a-kind doughnut celebrating the Hogwarts houses: the new specialty Sorting Hat™ Doughnut.While the doughnuts would have been enchanting enough on their own, Krispy Kreme didn't stop there. It's also offering a themed beverage, its newGolden Snitch Latte, which is described as having a rich golden caramel toffee flavored coffee topped with whipped cream, Biscoff® cookie crumble, and a sprinkle of golden shimmer sugar. The brand called it "a spellbinding, indulgent treat in every sip."
All four of the Hogwarts House doughnuts will be available individually and in custom-designed dozens boxes in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website beginning on Aug. 18 (the same day the latte launches). Guests can also enjoy the collection in a Krispy Kreme six-pack box delivered to select grocery retailers, according to the press release. The Sorting Hat doughnut launches the same day, but will only be available as a single doughnut sold in its own special box.
The doughnut shop is also making a magical offer aimed at fans of the series, offering those who show up to a participating Krispy Kreme wearing merch from any of the houses on Aug. 23 a free Original Glazed doughnut, no purchase necessary, while supplies last. Beginning on Sept. 1, Krispy Kreme fans can win a trip to either Universal Studios Hollywood or Universal Orlando Resort to experience the magic and excitement of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for themselves, thanks to a super sweet sweepstakes.
