Non-Prime customers can use the service for a $12.99 fee per order, regardless of size.

When Amazon began adding perishable groceries such as bananas, milk, eggs, bread, and ice cream to Same-Day Delivery in markets like Phoenix, AZ, Orlando, FL, and Kansas City, MO, customers embraced the convenience. Many were first-time Amazon grocery shoppers who now return twice as often as those not purchase fresh food. Early results also showed groceries’ popularity among Prime members, with strawberries now consistently ranking in the top five best-selling products—surpassing AirPods—while bananas, Honeycrisp apples, limes, and avocados round out the top 10 perishable grocery items in Same-Day Delivery orders. Cities such as Raleigh, NC, Milwaukee, WI, Tampa, FL, and Columbus, OH, are also now part of the expansion.
