Country Group to Bring the Tour Back 5 Years After Breakup

The past five years have been tumultuous for the country trio Rascal Flatts. They officially disbanded in 2021 after the cancellation of their farewell tour in 2020. Lead singer Gary LeVox and bassist Jay DeMarcus have since released some solo music, and lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney has been making a comeback from some legal troubles that included a DUI, small jail time, and the loss of his driver's license.

The group reunited in early 2025 for a new tour called Life is a Highway Tour, named after one of their biggest hits, and also released a new album titled Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets that featured collaborations with the Jonas Brothers, Jason Aldean, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, the Backstreet BoysandKelly Clarkson, among others.

Now on August 13, the trio has announced some huge news for fans — they are bringing the tour back in 2026.
