GENEVA, N.Y. — A barn in the Town of Geneva was completely destroyed after a fire broke out Tuesday night, according to Ontario County Sheriff deputies.
The fire happened at around 10:07 p.m. Tuesday. When deputies and fire crews first got to the barn on Reed Road, they say it was completely engulfed in flames.
Deputies say the homeowner was there at the time of the fire but had no injuries. They say the Ontario County Fire Coordinator determined the cause of the fire to be from an electrical fence charger inside the barn.
