ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The man accused of a deadly hit-and-run that killed a beloved Rochester bar doorman has been indicted.

Leonel Yas Pena faces multiple charges, including vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death. Yas Pena pleaded not guilty to the crash that happened back in June.

Police say Yas Pena left a bar on Monroe Avenue and was driving drunk when he hit Henry “Hank” Brown on South Union Street near Buena Place.
Brown was a doorman for the bar Salinger’s in Rochester’s East End. The owner of Salinger’s back in June said they plan to have a celebration of life at the end of the summer.
