SENECA, N.Y. — The Ontario County Sheriff’s says a minor was flown to the hospital Sunday after getting into a crash while riding a motorcycle on Flat Street in the Town of Seneca.
Deputies say they responded to Flatt Street Sunday for a personal injury crash involving a motorcycle and a Ford Mustang. When they got there, they say they found the motorcyclist seriously injured.
Initial investigations found that the motorcyclist was heading south on Flat Street and collided with the Mustang that was also heading South on Flat Street, according to deputies.
Deputies say the Mustang was trying to do a k-turn in the road before the motorcycle came into view. Flat Street from Robinson Road to Kashong Switch Road was closed for about three and a half hours.
The motorcyclist was flown by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Deputies say both people involved were minors and had valid licenses, but the motorcyclist did not have a motorcycle license.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Check back for any updates.
