The 2025 college football season kicks off in less than 2 weeks, and ESPN has named its preseason All-America teams. The SEC landed 12 first-team selections.
ESPN’s Chris Low notes that only 5 players who were 2024 postseason selections made the 2025 preseason team: Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith, Florida center Jake Slaughter, Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., Ohio State safety Caleb Downs and Michigan place-kicker Dominic Zvada.
