Wrexham could be without Kieffer Moore for a lengthy period after he suffered an ankle injury in their opening weekend defeat.
The Welsh outfit marked their return to the second tier of English football with a 2-1 loss away at Southampton.
Josh Windass put Wrexham ahead with a penalty, but Ryan Manning and Jack Stephens scored late on to complete the turnaround.
Moore made his debut for the visitors after signing from Sheffield United for around £2million earlier in the week.

“It was his ankle ligaments.”
Moore is one of a number of new arrivals with plenty of experience at Wrexham during the summer.
Lewis O’Brien and Conor Coady have joined from Nottingham Forest and Leicester City respectively.
Windass, who boasts plenty of action in the EFL, has also arrived on a free transfer following his Sheffield Wednesday exit.
Wrexham achieved three consecutive promotions to rise back into the Championship for this season.
