DENVER (KDVR) -- The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said just after 11 a.m. Saturday that they were responding to a fire alarm at the Safeway Corporate Building at 6900 South Yosemite Street in Centennial.
The sheriff's office said at 11:03 a.m. that there is no "public safety issue" but is asking people to stay out of the area while they investigate the incident.
South Yosemite Street between South Xanthia Street to the north and East Briarwood Boulevard and South Alton Way to the south is closed and traffic is being diverted, the sheriff's office said.
South Metro Fire Rescue is also on the scene, according to the sheriff's office, which said there is no public safety issue.
