We may begin our heat wave, starting Saturday. Highs on Saturday will approach 90 degrees. Dew points remain low, so humidity remains fairly comfortable. Sunday will be the hotter weekend day, with highs into the lower 90s. Once again, dew points will remain fairly comfortable.
Monday and Tuesday will likely be our hottest days to round out our heat wave, hitting the lower to mid 90s. Much like the weekend, dew points will remain in check, so the heat index won’t be much more than the actual air temperature will be. Both days will feature a partly cloudy to mostly sunny sky and dry. Tuesday may start to turn a little more muggy late, so there’s the slight chance of a stray shower or storm late in the day.
The humidity will begin to climb on Wednesday, with dew points making a push into the lower 70s. This additional moisture, combined with an approaching cold front will produce some scattered showers and a few storms. This is great news if your lawn is looking crispy.
