ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Payroll issues are continuing to affect some teachers and staff within the Rochester City School District (RCSD), as some still aren’t getting paid.
Some staff have not been paid in more than a month due as the district has been transitioning to a new financial software.

On Thursday, the Rochester Teachers Association met with the superintendent. RTA said about 70 teachers are potentially impacted at this point.
News10NBC previously spoke with Susan Reuter, a retired librarian who was supposed to be paid for two days she worked extra in June, but was only paid for one.
“There’s people not going to be paid for the work they’re doing this summer. And there doesn’t seem to be any explanation of why there’s a problem or what the plan is,” said Reuter.
The district is still trying to fix the issue with its payment problem. They say they are working to resolve the matter “promptly while preventing future disruptions.”
