Thousands of Illinois Lottery players won a share of $6.9 million in prizes in the evening round of Pick 4 on Wednesday.
The winning numbers for the evening draw on Aug. 6 were 4-4-4-4, with a FIREBALL number of 2, Illinois Lottery said in a statement.
Nearly 3,200 winning tickets were sold for the drawing, with more than 2,700 players taking home a prize of $2,500, according to Illinois Lottery. The largest prize of $30,000 was won by an iLottery player.
Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize.
Pick 4 plus FIREBALL is an Illinois-only game with two daily draws. Players select their number and the amount they want to wager on the draw. Pick 4 drawings are conducted daily at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m.
The last time a quad appeared in a Pick 4 was in June 2024, according to Illinois Lottery. Including Wednesday’s round, only seven quads have been drawn since the start of 2020.
