During the conversation, Gomez recalled how she and Swift connected when they were both dating one of the Jonas brothers, with Gomez dating Nick and Swift dating Joe. While their romantic relationships didn't work out, they found each other, with Gomez saying, "She and I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other."
