ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Housing Authority celebrated the completion of two affordable housing projects, Parliament Arms and Fairfield Village, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning.
The $53 million project is located in the Saint Paul neighborhood. Northeast District City Councilmember Michael Patterson said these new units are a “game changer” for low-income residents.
“The quality upgrades. When you walk in through the door and see that everybody has heat and air, tremendous change, especially as you get older,” said Patterson.
Tuesday’s ribbon-cutting marks a continuation of the Rochester Housing Authority’s “Season of Progress,” celebrating the completion of six new or renovated properties in the city.
