Denver Broncos ratings in Madden NFL 26

Electronic Arts unveiled its ratings for the upcoming Madden NFL 26 game. Here’s a look at how the Broncos stack up.

The stars

The Broncos have two players who received overall ratings of 90 or higher: Cornerback Pat Surtain II (97) and guard Quinn Meinerz (95). Surtain, the reigning defensive player of the year, is the highest-rated cornerback in the game and is one of seven players in the game who received the shutdown X-factor — this allows him to be more effective in pass coverage. Meinerz, who is entering the second year of his four-year extension, is the game’s top rated offensive guard.

Left tackle Garett Bolles just missed out on a 90 score with an overall rating of 89.

Other notable players include linebacker Dre Greenlaw (86), defensive lineman Zach Allen (86), wide receiver Courtland Sutton (85), tight end Evan Engram, edge rusher Nik Bonitto (84) and quarterback Bo Nix (79).

    The rookies

First-round pick Jahdae Barron is the team’s highest-rated rookie with an overall rating of 78. That ties the cornerback, who was picked 20th overall, for seventh among all rookies, regardless of position. He also jumps ahead of Riley Moss (76) to become Denver’s second highest-rated corner. Here’s a look at the Broncos’ other rookies:
