LEROY, N.Y. — A 36-year-old woman from LeRoy is facing various charges after Genesee County Sheriff Deputies say she was driving drunk when she hit a person with her car.
Deputies say Amanda Vedder was driving north on Linwood Road when she hit a person walking towards State Route 5 Saturday night.
Vedder was charged with reckless endangerment, vehicular assault, and driving while intoxicated with .08% BAC or higher.
She was taken to the Genesee County Jail and arraigned at CAP Court. She was released on her own recognizance and set to appear in court at a later date.
