Today co-host Dylan Dreyer celebrated a major milestone, her 44th birthday, with her ex, Brian Fichera, after announcing their separation.
On Sunday, Aug. 3, Dreyer took to Instagram with a carousel of photos and two video clips showing off how she spent her big day with former Today co-worker Hoda Kotb, Kotb's kids, her own kids and yes, her ex.

"Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!" the third hour co-host captioned her update. "I was spoiled by the best surprises ever and felt like a princess!"
In the featured image, Dreyer posed enthusiastically while donning a "Birthday Girl" sash, headband and oversized blue glasses. Another shot showed her hugging her three sons, Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Russell, 3. For a different snap, Dreyer posed with her boys, Kotb, and Kotb's daughters, Haley, 8, and Hope, 6.
For the last segment, Dreyer included a clip of herself standing in front of a cake with lit candles as the group sang "Happy Birthday" to her. Fischera notably stood in the doorway as he sang, reaffirming their commitment to peacefully co-parenting their three children despite their split.

On July 18, Dreyer announced her and Fischera's split via Instagram after nearly 13 years of marriage.
“For many years I have shared my family with you all—the highs and the lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” she wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you've given me throughout it all.”
The meteorologist added, "For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate. We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends."

Dreyer concluded, “Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another. Thank you as always for your support.”
