Odisha Vigilance Raids Boudh MVI’s Properties in Disproportionate Assets Probe

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance launched simultaneous searches today at six locations linked to Golap Chandra Hansdah, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) of Boudh, over allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA) relative to his known sources of income.

The operation, which began early this morning, is being conducted under the supervision of four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), seven Inspectors, and supporting staff, following search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada.

    The raids target properties across Baripada, Boudh, and Bhubaneswar, including:

    (1) Residential house of Sri Hansdah located at Prafulla Nagar, Baripada, Dist. Mayurbhanj.

    (2) His Rented residential house located at Boudh, Dist. Boudh.

    (3) Office chamber of Sri Hansdah located in the RTO office, Boudh, Dist. Boudh.

    (4) Paternal house of Sri Hansdah located at village Gudidiha under Khunta P.S., Dist. Mayubhanj.

    (5) Rented flat of his daughter at Pandara,Bhubaneswar.

    (6) House of his close associate at Baghdiha, Ward No. 28, Baripada.

    The search is in progress.
