Turin, Italy (Aug. 2, 2025) – Juventus FC’s men’s first team has resumed rigorous morning training at the J‑Village’s state‑of‑the‑art Training Center in Continassa, as the club accelerates its preparations for the upcoming season. With many players recently returning from international duty, head coach Thiago Motta has quickly ramped up technical, athletic and possession drills to sharpen performance.
Focused Return on the Pitch
Since June 5, 2025, Juventus have focused on strength and conditioning work in the gym and on the field, intensifying their build-up ahead of the Club World Cup campaign. Subsequently, on April 8, 2025, following a rest day after Juventus’s match in Rome, players not on recovery duty resumed training in split groups—some engaged in light recovery, others in pressing drills. The session also welcomed young American participants from the Juventus Training Experience.
Youth Integration and Fan Engagement
In a heartening moment, Juventus Junior Members joined first-team players on a Wednesday morning pitch session, participating side‑by‑side in small‑sided exercises, creating a memorable experience of mentorship and community connection.
Facilities of Continassa and Vinovo
Located in Turin, the Juventus Training Center on the Continassa site is part of the larger J‑Village, inaugurated in 2018 and spanning over 59,500 m². This modern facility includes multiple natural‑grass training pitches, locker rooms, gym, pool, medical blocks, and media studios—supporting both first-team and next-gen squads.en.wikipedia.org+1it.wikipedia.org+1
Meanwhile, the older "Vinovo" Training Centre, opened in 2006 and now rebranded the Allianz Training Center, continues to serve Juventus Women and youth teams. It features eight full-size fields, dedicated Physio and rehab facilities, indoor training centers, and a press room for up to 30 journalists.
Strategic Objectives
Coach Motta’s emphasis on ball possession, pressing drills, and strength work appears calibrated to sharpen tactical cohesion and physical resilience as Juventus heads toward key competitive fixtures. The offseason training regimen serves not only to integrate returning internationals but to instill a mentality aligned with the club's high standards on and off the pitch.
