A small plane crash in Steuben County, on Morton Hill Road in Hornellsville, also resulted in one fatality, New York State Police said. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on Friday. Officials have withheld the identity of the deceased pending family notification.
Troopers urged people to avoid the area as first responders continued their work into the night.
