Gifford was on Live! alongside Regis Philbin for 15 seasons — from 1985 to 2000. Eight years later, Gifford joined Today, co-hosting the fourth hour alongside Hoda Kotb from 2008 through 2011.

Gifford often reminisces about her time on Live! and Today. For example, on July 22, she posted a throwback clip from her time with Kotb.
"This wasn’t exactly my fight song… but bless Hoda’s heart, she sure gave it her all," Gifford captioned the post.
Gifford hasn't officially retired from the entertainment business, though she's no longer on television every day. She's worked on various projects as an actress, director, and producer since leaving Today. According to her IMDb page, however, Gifford doesn't have anything lined up for the remainder of the year.
