M&M's just dropped a new flavor of its iconic chocolate candies, but only at some stores (at least for now).
During a simple run to their local Albertsons grocery store, one snack influencer spotted a new light blue and white share-size bag of M&M's, snapping a pic of it and sharing it with their nearly 14,000 Instagram followers.
"@mmschocolate cookies and creme found @albertsons," they captioned the July 30 Instagram upload.
"Take all my money now," one fan replied.
"They taste like the end of the ice cream cones with chocolate in them," a second shared before a third said they're "definitely good."
"Hmmm I don’t wanna get my hopes [up]," someone else quipped, "but they sound good lol."
"WOW awesome find, didn’t even see these on the snack leak accounts!" one more said with surprise, "Think it’s exclusive?"

While a spokesperson for Mars Inc., the parent company of M&M's, was not immediately available for comment, Parade editors were able to unearth an official product listing, whichcorroborated the release and the limited-edition nature of the M&M's Cookies & Creme flavor.
Whether or not this is a retailer-exclusive flavor remains unclear as trusted food blogger Markie_devo–who accurately predicted the new Oreo x Reese's collab, Krispy Kreme's Passport to Italy and the new Dairy Queen Blizzard–reported on Wednesday that the newly released treat is "only at Albertsons & affiliate stores (Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United Supermarkets, Pavilions, Star Market, Haggen, Carrs, Kings Food Markets, and Balducci’s Food Lovers Market)."
For those living outside of Albertsons' reach, that's certainly not the news they wanted to hear (but it also might not be the case...hold on, we're getting there).
"I’m pretty sure where I live at we don’t have ANYYY of these stores ? I’m tired of this ?," one lamented.
"I miss Cookies & Screeeem M&M’s!" another exclaimed of the very similar, limited-edition Halloween variety. "Too bad I don’t have any of the listed stores near me :(."
That said, we did find the new flavor available to purchase directly from M&M's; you'll just have to be okay ordering it in bulk, which, if you're a huge fan or know a couple of interested friends, it might not be such a bad deal. 12-packs of the variety are available online for $29.99, which works out to about $2.50 per package before shipping.
