DENVER (KDVR) — The jury has reached a verdict in the murder trial of James Craig, the former Aurora dentist accused of poisoning his wife, Angela, in 2023.

Craig is facing the following charges:
Count 1: Murder in the first degree Count 2: Solicitation to commit tampering with physical evidence Count 3: Solicitation to commit tampering with physical evidence Count 4: Solicitation to commit perjury in the first degree Count 5: Solicitation to commit murder in the first degree Count 6: Solicitation to commit perjury in the first degreeThis comes after a two-week trial where Craig was accused of poisoning his wife's protein shakes with cyanide and tetrahydrozoline.
Angela died in March of 2023 after several trips to the hospital. Toxicology tests later determined she died of poisoning from cyanide and tetrahydrozoline, an ingredient found in over-the-counter eye drops.
