Bright served as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer, playing a critical role in shaping and implementing the organization’s strategy, including planning, organizing, and executing Nature Collective’s fundraising, communications, and outreach efforts. Additionally, she is known to champion the Nature Collective’s justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility goals.
She is also a Certified Fund-Raising Executive, a program that recognizes fundraising professionals committed to the highest standards of ethical and professional practice in the philanthropic sector, and an alumnus of Leadership North County, a California State University, San Marcos-led program that fosters the growth of community leaders who serve as catalysts in building a stronger region.
“As we look to the future together, I am excited about the opportunities ahead,” Bright said. We have the potential to deepen our impact, reach more people, and create even more lasting change. My vision for Nature Collective, which aligns with the board-led strategic plan, involves strengthening our community partnerships and continuing to leverage new technologies to improve our science-based restoration, monitoring, and programming.
