AUBURN, N.Y. — A 43-year-old man from Rochester has been identified as the man who was shot to death in Auburn on Saturday, July 26.
According to the Auburn Police Department, at around 9:38 p.m. Saturday, they responded to the area of Oak Creek Town Homes in Auburn to check out a block style party when they heard multiple gunshots from Chapman Avenue, a street nearby.
Officers went over to the area where they say they found a man, 36-year-old Davon Dixon of Auburn, who threw a gun on the ground and was taken into custody by police.
They also found Ronell Agee laying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was brought to the hospital where he died.
Dixon has been charged with murder in the second-degree and criminal possession of a weapon.
