(KRON) -- Law enforcement agencies in the South Bay are responding to an active incident on the VTA light rail tracks near Winchester Boulevard in Campbell. The Winchester VTA Light Rail Station in Campbell has been evacuated out of "an abundance of caution," according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.
Nearby schools and businesses are also being cleared, according to the officials. Roads in the area remain closed and people are advised to avoid the area.
Units with the Campbell Police Department are also on the scene.

The VTA is reporting no service to Winchester Transit Center until further notice.
