Chapel Hill Police Seek Assistance In Search For Missing Pittsboro Man

The Chapel Hill Police Department said in a release Tuesday morning that they’re seeking a missing Chatham County man.

Michael Brandon Williams, 31, of Pittsboro, was last seen around 8:30 a.m. Monday near the 1300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. He is 5 feet 9 inches, weighs roughly 240 pounds, and was last seen in a blue polo shirt and khaki shorts.

    Investigators say they have concerns about Williams’ mental health status and are urging community members who may have seen Williams to contact them.

    Anyone with information should call 911 or contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
