Walker met his future wife while he was at the school, the family said. They married in 2005.

Johnny Walker was described by his family as a gifted athlete who was also compassionate. He graduated from Kent Middle School in Kentfield and was enrolled to attend Marin Catholic High School this fall. His sister is a student there.

More than 160 people were missing in Kerr County, Texas, after flooding along the Guadalupe River. Officials have confirmed 108 deaths in Kerr County but have declined to publicly identify victims.
