ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Arc of Monroe is holding a dedication ceremony Tuesday for its new training center.
The new center, called the “Arc Advance Academy,” is designed to ensure all direct-support professionals are trained to help people with developmental disabilities get ahead in their lives.
The interactive training center features home amenities such as a kitchen, laundry room, bedroom, bathroom, classroom space, and “state-of-the art technology.” Officials say the academy will also soon have a virtual reality lab.
The dedication ceremony will take place Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.
