PENFIELD, N.Y. – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said that on Saturday afternoon, there was a report of a man threatening people with a crowbar at the Delta Sonic on Penfield Road.
The suspect was gone by the time deputies got there, but witnesses described the suspect and his car.
Deputies were called to Route 390 South near the Rush exit for a report of a man who damaged a vehicle by throwing a hammer at it.
The description of the vehicle and suspect matched the earlier incident at Delta Sonic.
Deputies stopped the car on Monroe Avenue in Pittsford and arrested Nikita Moiseiev, 19, of Rochester. He was charged with criminal mischief, menacing, obstruction of governmental administration, and resisting arrest.
Moiseiev was taken to Monroe County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
