Things have been complicated to say the least for The Young and the Restless’s Audra, played by Zuleyka Silver. Now with her latest scheme falling apart, and in the midst of one of the soaps more complicated storylines, fans are wondering where things go from here.
Silver recently spoke toDaytime Confidentialabout her character’s recent storyline developments. When the actress first read her scripts she was a bit shocked at where things were headed, sharing, “When I first read it, I was like, “Oh, hello no! this is crazy.' Victor's (Eric Braeden) pimping her out. But then I saw that she stood up to him! She's like, 'No, I'm not going to do anything. It just needs to look like Kyle (Michael Mealor) is in a compromising situation.'”
The actress is hopeful that things between Audra and Kyle will build into something interesting, teasing, “Kyle and Audra are going to continue to build! It's just gonna get to a point where the lines will be very blurred. It's a lot of a lot of fun stuff happening. So, we'll see!”

Silver discussed Audra’s trust in Victor after having been “burned” in the past. “I think she's very optimistic, and sometimes a little too optimistic, because Victor has burned her before.” The actress continued, “The fact that she's willing to take that chance just shows how out of options she was. She's like, 'Well, you know, maybe I can make this work. Maybe Victor won't burn me this time.' So, we'll see what happens at that.
The actress reflected on the change in her character since her arrival, adding, “I was kind of missing the scheming Audra.” But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t thankful for the characters journey sharing, “I think she was good for too long, but I do love that they did soften me up a bit for a while. It was needed to just give her another layer, show more of her humanity.
Looking at her current storyline, Silver said, “I think she likes the game aspect of it. Obviously, she's there on a mission, but that doesn't mean she can't have fun in the meantime, right?” The actress continued, “So, I think she actually really enjoys toying with Kyle. The more pissed off he gets, the more she's poking fun at him. So, I do think she’s all business, but I think she does enjoy the flirtation, challenging him and pushing his buttons.”
