Nearly three decades after Sheryl Parker was found dead in the St. Vrain River, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office is still seeking justice in her case.

Parker left her Fort Collins home on July 17, 1996 after an argument with her husband. She was last seen alive that night when she checked into a the Budget Host Motel in Del Camino. She was found dead on July 26, 1996.
Investigators later learned she planned on divorcing her husband, Ed, and had got the motel room to separate herself from him. Her husband and his brother reported finding her car in the parking lot at the motel on July 23, according to the post.
